Derby Diocesan Association

Formerly the Derbyshire Association of Change Ringers, whose name was changed at the AGM on April 20th 1963; it covered the same area as its predecessors. [Research by John Harrison.]

The AGM of the Midland Counties Association held on 7th April 1945 agreed the society should be divided into three separate societies - Derby, Leicester and Southwell - from 1 January 1946, to generate greater local interest and the advancement of ringing.
